About the Artist

I have been a custom gold and silversmith for over 25 years.  I received a bachelor’s degree in University Studies from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s degree in Education, with Honors, from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.  I also received a Graduate Gemologist certification from The Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, California.  My work has been exhibited and sold from Laguna Beach, California, to Frog Hollow in Vermont.

I taught silversmith courses at The Evergreen State College Free School in Olympia, Washington, and The Bemis Art School for Children in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was a Visiting Artist at The Colorado Springs School and taught First Grade at Ute Pass Elementary School nestled in the mountains west of Colorado Springs.  I was honored to be a member of the Cascade, Colorado Volunteer Fire Department as a Firefighter 1, EMT, and Captain.

If I am not creating in my studio or following the exploits of my daughters and grand daughters, I am probably playing golf and enjoying the beauty of the Rocky Mountains.
